Drive C free space reduced by 0.2g/day.no downloads or data entry added.Computer only used for internet browsing. Have firewall,antivirus,spysweeper.nothing found in sweeps

try cleaning up the cache in your browser and see what happens. your browser does store info on disk of every page you hit to cache the info. Depending on how large you set your cache it may look like you keep eating up disk space until it hits it's cache size limit. Or maybe you have some sort of virus :P

a lot of reasons of that , temporary files , deleting files (not deleting completely , uninstalling program with wrong way , but the most thing eats ur HD is the restore system in XP , if it's on it eats almost 3 to 5 gb , follow that if u want some free room



go to My computer , right click on C and choose prosperities , then clean up , more option , and choose cleanup from the system restore , u gonna see ur free space in ur HD increased a lot .....
ever time you access the internet, you are writing files to your PC. Clean out the temp files and history. Also check your recycle bin to gain back space.
browsing the net -----this saves data to your hard drive...ie cookies...and other stuff......just empty via internet options....temp folders etc
