Limewire / Kazaa?

Hi Im thinking about downloading Kazaa because its almost impossible to find underground rap songs on youtube and stuff like that.

My uncle downloaded Limewire and it totaly destroyed the computer with the spyware %26gt; he dosne't have anti virus.

***Anyways kazaa says it has free antivirus built in so you don't get a virus IS THIS TRUE? wats the chance of me getting a virus?

first advice: don't use either. you're likely to just run into trouble and/or viruses and spyware regardless.

that said, a virus and spyware are two different things, but there are tools out there for both, and both free.

for your antivirus, use AVG Free Edition, which can be found at http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/

for spyware, use Spybot Search %26 Destroy, which is found here (you must select a download location) http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirro...

of the two, LimeWire is the better choice.

Neither - if you don't download illegally, you aren't likely to get a virus that way. Try iTunes. You need to pay for it, but at least you aren't stealing from the artist

limewire is better i hadn't had one virus i ahve had it for a year now and no problems what so ever. it just slow down my pc that is all.
