soo i had comcast internet not too long ago before i moved. and mcafee virus protection was included for free. but now that i no longer have the comcast... the mcafee doesnt seem to be working right. it will do updates and such but every single time i do a virus scan, or anything else, it says there is nothing found but i KNOW there is something wrong with my computer. is it not working anymore or am i just imagining things? %26%26 if its not working right are there any GOOD FREE* antivirus protection software i can download anywhere? please help me???!!

For a quick answer, log onto the internet and go to the webpage for Trend's free "Housecall" on-line anti-virus scan. It's available at the first link shown below.
As to a free anti-virus program, I'd recommend the free version of AVG. It's available for download at the second link shown below. Good luck.

It should work fine regardless of your internet provider. How do you say yo KNOW there is a virus? If your computer is running slow, etc, a virus isn't always the culprit.
